The Yahoo - Google partnership dissected. PDF Print E-mail

Yahoo caves in. Google comes out ahead and another giant, namely Microsoft, willing to overpay for stock is left shaking their head in disbelief. Frankly, i'm right there, too - shaking my head in disbelief.

Absolutely incredible! For a man of Jerry Yang's intellect, or obvious lack thereof, this is an incredibly stupid decision.
There is not a single positive aspect to it. Antitrust and compete violations aside, what will move an advertiser to purchase Google Adsense to be displayed on Yahoo search results? If i wanted that, i go through Google directly, not to some reseller.

Lower your Credit Card Interest Rate! PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 17 May 2008
Have you every checked out what your current rate on your credit cards is? I just recently did and was, well...less than pleased. 16.9% on normal purchases and exorbitantly higher on cash advances. Thankfully, i never utilize(d) the cash advance feature on any of my cards, so that was of lesser concern to me. However, the interest rate on normal purchases had to change...and quickly. From what i've heard, Credit Card Issuers are much more conducive to working with you if you recently paid your card down or eventually even off, since this may be an indication that you're willing to spend more, once they lower your interest rate.

YES! It's money time! For those who received their tax refund via direct deposit, many of us have already seen incoming funds to our bank accounts. Those who opted for a check, should get served pretty soon as well. Now, the biggest question that applies is: How would you spend all the newly found wealth? Best Buy here i come, I always wanted that LCD TV? Or, will it be a contribution right back to the credit card that has gotten too much use over the past months?

Domain Revenue Disappearing! PDF Print E-mail

Google is loosing money - stocks are dropping - explanations at the next share holder meeting should be very interesting. Unfortunately, they can afford this type of business play.

Yahoo - whatever they've got up their sleeves, they seem to forget that, even if they artificially deflate their revenue and shy MSFT away from the table, they truly play into the hands of only ONE entity - GOOG.

If anyone falls for the illusion that GOOG would let YHOO back into the market - wake up and smell the roses.
